Kiki’s Delivery Service is a movie about a young witch who is trying to become independent. She decides to set up a courier service of sorts, but finds out that this idea is much more challenging than she previously expected.
I’ve watched this movie several time and while I do enjoy it and consider it a fine film. It doesn’t connect to me as strongly as other works by Miyazaki. Though, with that said, I love the talking cat named Jiji. The animation is top notch once again and the characters are very interesting. It’s a solid film, but just doesn’t hit close to the heart as others do.
