“The Simpsons”

Season Two: Episode Three

“Treehouse of Horror”

Air Date: October 25th, 1990

Featuring: James Earl Jones

The perfect Halloween show. Three tales of horror and fear. What the Simpsons do well is take pop culture references and classic literature, then mold them into something awesome.

House of Usher – Haunted house, Poltergeist, House on Haunted Hill

Alien Abduction- Many references in this one.

One of my favorite Simpson interpretations. “The Raven” by the Simpsons. Exposes their incredible talent and writing ability. It is creepy and pays homage to Edgar Allan Poe.

These episodes don’t really count toward anything. They are entertainment and nothing more. Still, i put them on the list.
