The time for this behemoth which has already made 255 million overseas to be unleashed on American cinema. The results so far have been mixed. Some say the movie is decent, but too much like the first one and there far inferior. While others say the second half of this movie switches up everything and raises the stakes to all new highs. So, it will be interesting to see what the masses of America think of the movie in general. The movie has such high expectations, it may never live up to. May never had a chance.
The story isn’t too original, about Tony Stark/Iron Man creating artificial intelligence robot to aid him and protect the world. This robot becomes demented and like many of them decide that wiping out the planet is the way to go. Now the Avengers are forced to deal with this or watch humanity burn for Iron Man’s mistakes. The key to the movie (As is the case with anything.) is the characters. Are they developed enough? Do they evolve from point A to point B or is it all mindless action and carnage? We will soon find out. (Stay tuned for my review later tonight!)
That’s the only movie in town this week right? Nobody would ever think of going against Marvel and it’s powerhouse mach…..oh wait.

Far from the Madding Crowd
A period drama set in Victorian England where a strong and independent woman attracts a wide variety of suitors. She has feelings for them all, but must decide on who to marry. Based upon the Thomas Hardy novel of the same name. If you are looking for something a bit more down to earth and not filled with evil robots, this is probably a good choice.

Welcome to Me (2014)
Genre: Comedy, Drama
Starring: Kristen Wiig, James Marsden
A comedy about a woman who wins the lotto. She gives up her psychiatric medications and starts her own talk show. (Let the madness ensue!) The idea seems interesting, but I know so little about the film. Hopefully it will find a good audience and get a more mainstream release and that way I may see it.
