Maybe wasn’t impressed by this film, but I wasn’t disappointed either.  It had some nice life lessons for younger viewers. It had a nice mix of humor, visuals, and neat quirks that made it worthwhile.

Here is my review of the film

If you have young kids or are a kid at heart. You probably will come out of this movie in a fairly good mood.

This movie was made for the fans of the original movie. If you liked the original movie, then you will likely be places with this version as well. It’s a bit predictable, but still has plenty of value despite the fact.

Here is my detailed review of the movie.

My call- (If you liked the first one, then you’ll probably enjoy this one as well. )

Run All Night-
Budget- 50 Million
Worldwide gross- 43 Million
Genre- Action/Crime/ Drama

IMDB- 7.1 of 200 ratings
RT.COM 61% with 5.6/10 and 64% Enjoyed the Movie
This movie was clearly using the “good” name of Liam Neeson in the Taken trilogy (Should never have been.) to try and squeeze some more money out. Despite the overall production being better than 2/3 of the Taken trilogy and the film being much more gritty and bloody, the film has vastly underperformed. If you like a gritty Action/Crime/Drama, then this may be worthwhile watching sometime down the line.

My call- (Rental) If at all  If you like gritty crime films and wished Taken was a bit more bloody. Then this is for you.

Genre- Science Fiction/Action/Adventure/Thriller
Director-Neill Blomkamp
Cast- Sharlto Copley Dev Patel, Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver
49 Million Budget
Box Office
30 Million Domestic
77 Million Worldwide
IMDB- 7.3 of 28.4 K+ ratings
RT.Com 31%, 6.9/10 and 63% Enjoyed the Movie
While it is hard to call this movie a complete flop, considering it will be hard-pressed to hit 100 million. It certainly didn’t play out as well as many would have hoped.  it does seem this movie woefully underperformed in theaters. From what everyone has taken from the movie, it went in some strange directions after a strong start. A classic bait and switch and that doesn’t always work. Especially with a movie featuring a controversial theme.
My call- (Maybe a rental)
