This is when we start seeing movies of two varieties. The first being franchises which are expected to draw big box office no matter where they land in the movie year. (Except in January apparently) The other kind of movie is those that while average or even good that wouldn’t be able to hold up against the big summer blockbusters.
Mr. Peabody and Sherman– I enjoyed this movie, but it had potential to be something so much better. In fact, they touched a bit upon it in the movie, but decided to go another way. I will not say it was a failure, cause it wasn’t and I enjoyed it, but what could have been makes me feel a bit blue.
300:Rise Of an Empire– Hard to recapture that magic of the original 300 movie. This sequel gives decent effort and turned out alright. Not anything…
